The Fifo Trainer Pty Ltd was established with a singular purpose: to raise the standard of workforce training for the people who power Western Australia's mining and resources economy. Too many workers arrive on site with credentials that don't reflect genuine competency, and too many operators spend time and money re-training staff who should have arrived work-ready.
We set out to change that. Every course we deliver is grounded in the actual hazards, procedures, and culture of WA mine sites — not generic national templates with a mining label applied. Our instructors understand FIFO life because they've lived it, and our curriculum reflects the real legislative environment workers operate within under the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 (WA) and national WHS frameworks.
